Course Information

The Survival Doctor’s Emergencies Training Course goes well beyond typical first-aid courses, teaching how to save a life with confidence when expert help is delayed or not coming.

During disasters and snowstorms, while camping and hiking, in riots and while trekking abroad, you may be the only help available. In this course, you’ll learn essential medical skills that you can use to survive common medical emergencies and save the lives of your loved ones. For most techniques, you don’t even need sophisticated medical equipment. You’ll learn how to make do with what you have on you.

Dr. James Hubbard, aka The Survival Doctor, spent over a year developing this training course. It allows students to advance their emergency skills and confidence to heights not possible with any other course for a general audience that he knows of.

There are two levels: Lifesaver and Master.

  • Lifesaver students get unlimited access to in-depth, upbeat videos in which Dr. Hubbard teaches lifesaving medical techniques in his signature down-home, easy-to-understand way. Suspenseful survival scenarios show what to do in real life-situations. Students get convenient downloads (including quizzes and cheat sheets), a private Facebook group to connect and learn, and audio files for on-the-go review. And this is all for the price of a simple first-aid class.
  • Master students get everything Lifesaver students get plus five live, online, customized small-group workshops with Dr. Hubbard where they go more in-depth about lifesaving topics and get hands-on practice. They also ask Dr. Hubbard questions live, and he reviews their technique on video if they want. Plus, they get access to recordings of all future Master workshops—no limit—so they can stay up-to-date.

(Get more details about both levels here.)

Dr. Hubbard is the author of four books, including his latest, Living Ready Pocket Manual: First Aid and Duct Tape 911: The Many Amazing Medical Things You Can Do to Tape Yourself Together. He publishes the popular website TheSurvivalDoctor.com. He’s been a family doctor for over 30 years, much of that time in small towns and rural areas, where people learn to make do with what they have on hand.
